Through our Action Groups, NMG is working to improve our region with unique, hands-on projects. We call them Action Groups, not committees, to emphasize our practical, results-oriented approach. In short, we like to get things done, rather than just talk about it. To date, here are some Action Group accomplishents:

• Our Downtown Action Group is currently working on Walk Buffalo, a self-guided walking tour showcasing downtown Buffalo's architecture.
• Our Transportation Action Group is providing leadership in achieving sustainable transportation and land-use in Buffalo, WNY, and Southern Ontario, thus contributing to regional livability and increased economic opportunity through more efficient use of local resources. The group also advocated for and helped win a fair, open, inclusive, and legal process by which Peace Bridge capacity expansion can be accomplished creatively, without compromising health or quality of life.
